Born from Frustration. Reinvented with Love.

The idea for Betty was born from experience. Joanna—Betty's founder—spent years working behind the scenes in the hosiery industry, constantly hearing the same feedback: tights that tore after one wear, dug into the waist, rolled down, or they simply lacked style. Despite being a wardrobe essential, tights hadn’t evolved. Women were still settling for second-best.

So, she set out to change everything.

With a background in art direction and a passion for fashion history and lingerie, Joanna imagined a different kind of brand—one where tights were sensual, durable, and beautifully made. She teamed up with co-founder Charlene, and together they launched Betty: a female-founded brand built on the belief that hosiery should be as luxurious and expressive as the women who wear it.
